Chapter 53

David in distress crieth to God for help, ℣.6 Confidently trusting therein, ℣.8 and promising sacrifice of thanks-giving.

  2. 2

    when the Zipheites were come,

O God save me in thy name: and in thy strength judge me.

Because strangers have risen up against me, & the strong have sought my soul: and they have not set God before their eyes.

  6. 6

  7. 7

Turn away the evils of mine enemies: and in thy truth destroy them.

  8. 8

  9. 9
