1 Therefore the men of Cariathiarim came, and brought back the ark of our Lord, and carried it into the house of Abinadab in Gabaa: and Eleazar his son they sanctified, that he might keep the ark of our Lord.

11 And the men of Israel issuing out of Masphath pursued the Philisthiims, & struck them unto the place, that was under Bethchar.

12 And Samuel took one stone, and laid it between Masphath and Sen: and he called the name of that place, The stone of help. And he said: Thus far hath our Lord holpen us.

14 And the cities, which the Philistiims had taken from Israel, were rendered to Israel, from Accaron unto Geth, and their borders: and he delivered Israel from the hand of the Philistiims, and there was peace between Israel and the Amorrheite.
